How to Make German Spaghetti Ice Cream: Spaghetti Eis Magic at Home
Spaghetti Ice is a German noodle shaped ice cream dessert. It is topped with a strawberry sauce and sprinkled with white chocolate parmesan. It is a delicious ice cream dessert enjoyed by children and adults alike.
Place your spätzle maker or potato ricer in the freezer at least 30 minutes beforehand. Also freeze your dessert bowls or plates to prevent the ice cream from melting too quickly.
Preparing the ingredients
For strawberries: If using frozen strawberries, sprinkle with sugar and let defrost. If using fresh strawberries, wash, remove stems, and quarter them. Sprinkle with sugar and let sit for 30 minutes to release juices. Puree the strawberries with an immersion blender or regular blender, then refrigerate the sauce.
