Easy recipe to make homemade infused strawberry vodka. This is a great gift, or delicious to use in strawberry vodka lemonade, strawberry vodka champagne punch or straight up as shots.
A large jar (one liter) or use an array of smaller jars.
1 fine stray sieve
Bottles to give away as a gift (optional)
Ingredients
750mlvodka25 fl oz
500gstrawberries17 oz / I tried both frozen and fresh and they both work well
3tablespoonwhite sugar
Instructions
If using fresh strawberries wash, hull and quarter them. Add the strawberries into the jar and then pour the vodka on top.
Pour in the sugar in the jar and mix well with a spoon.
Close the jar and leave the strawberry vodka to infuse in a cool dark place. I kept mine in the kitchen cupboard. (Within a few hours the vodka will absorb the colour of the strawberries. After a week the strawberries will appear almost white.)
Leave to infuse for 7-10 days.
After this time, strain the strawberries through a fine mesh sieve or cheese cloth. Capture the vodka and fill into a bottle or gift bottles as desired.

Strawberry Vodka Lemonade
This is how I like to serve it on hot summer days. It is easy. I use the measurement ratio 1:3. So if you have a 180 ml/ 6 fl oz glass then add 90 ml/ 9 fl oz vodka and 120 ml/ 4 fl oz lemonade. If you like you can add some fresh or frozen strawberries to the drink. If you are using frozen strawberries you can omit the ice cubes.
Strawberry Vodka Punch
Preparing a strawberry vodka summer punch is a fun way of entertaining guests. One of my favourite recipes is strawberry vodka champagne punch.
